Election 2009 Candidate Surveys
In the 2009 races, every candidate has an education platform, but few have answered the big questions — like what they think of tenure, Joel Klein, and the accountability system that Mayor Bloomberg built.
But thanks to surveys GothamSchools sent to candidates in the three citywide races — for mayor, public advocate, and comptroller — and in competitive City Council races, some of those answers are surfacing.
Links to the responses we’ve so far received are below. We’ll be updating this page as we get more questionnaires back. Let the candidates you’re interested in know that you want to see their surveys on GothamSchools — surveys can be sent to our tips box.
