GothamSchools — daily independent reporting on NYC public schools

Support Us

GothamSchools is a nonprofit that produces high-quality news about the New York City schools at a small cost — but some cost. That is why we need your help.

We began with a generous one-year grant from OpenPlans, a Manhattan-based foundation. A donation from one of our earliest contributors, Ken Hirsh, has allowed us to stay afloat after that.

We need more help, though, and your support can make the difference. Do the math with us: More than 40,000 people visit our site each month, and our projected 2010-2011 school-year budget is about $275,000. Even a $10 donation makes a substantial dent.

Become a supporter and join the community of readers who believe that improving education requires high-quality education journalism.

Clicking the link below will allow you to make a tax-deductible donation to OpenPlans, our parent foundation. The donation will automatically be earmarked for GothamSchools. You can also send a check to the address below.
