    99% of the time, if a web site lists an “old dumb law that’s still on the books” and there’s no citation to the statute, it’s a hoax.

    Just for a clarification on the PS 183 case: the teacher in question did NOT use his DOE email for the personal ads. He used a Gmail email address shared between him and his co-teacher, who was the one who turned him in.
