Just so we’re clear: Protesting school closures gets you arrested, starting a war with lies gets you re-elected, and robbing the country blind from your comfy office on Wall Street gets you a bonus.

    Well said!

    From Ed Notes…

“For the divisions we developed another strategy, asking our 11 elementary, 5 middle school and 7 high school people to carry a pack of petitions for all the others running with them in their category.”

And a few nights ago “Mike”, here, foamed at the mouth with rabid frenzy when I questioned his assertion that MORE represents thousands.

Again, let’s stick to specifics and facts!

  • Former Turnaround Teacher

Where were you when over 150 schools were closed under the Bloomberg administration in NYC Randi? (9 of which you were UFT president for). Where have you been while schools have been closed all across Chicago for years?

  • normsco

Unity is running the same number of candidates for these positions. And ICE and TJC got thousands of votes in the past and MORE will get thousands of votes this time. And the thousands that signed the MORE petitions are phantoms. No foaming necessary. Ignorance must be bliss.

  • normsco

Randi and the UFT supported the closing of almost 100 schools and her famous “Lafayette HS should be closed” after they put in a lunatic principal to force its closing will go down in history. Just show and tell so she can say she opposes closing schools. Did the UFT oppose the recent announced closing of George Gershwin MS which has been occupied
by the UFT charter, which they are certainly fighting much harder to keep open than real public schools.

  • normsco

Hey Les, those Vegas casino drinks must be getting to you. That you lack such knowledge of specifics and facts is shocking. If MORE doesn’t get thousands of supporters to vote for it in this election send me your address and I’ll send you a hundred bucks. Want to make the same bet with me?

  • Les Vegas

Hey slick, big difference between people signing a petition and being active members in your group, no?

  • normsco

Come on down and see for yourself. Unlike Unity we are open, yes? Won’t take my bet on thousands of votes? Come on, you could put the 100 bucks on double zero.

I’m not taking your bet because I am purposefully posting anonymously (like the majority of people here). So stop patting yourself on the back for that.

Now question for you, Mr. Miserable, why are you censoring the comments on your blog? Tired of being disproved by people? Fearful of the truth being told?

  • normsco

Les is Less: I understand your wanting to be anonymous. It would be
too embarrassing for you if people knew who was writing such trivial
stuff. No problems. I don’t censor anyone — except you and ads for
used underwear. But I’m doing it for your own good. You really need to
get over your obsession with me and my blog.
