Teachers cannot walk around in bulletproof vests nor can our students. The truth is we cannot guarantee who can go off at any given moment  or who can get past the scanners. Not every school has scanners. Principals cannot be armed. They originally wanted to do that with airline pilots and they did not want the responsibility either. Please, we, teachers are stressed out enough and do far more than we are supposed to as it is. Don’t put this on us.
