I wish you would cover how the last of the relocated schools are going to be forced back into unsafe buildings on January 2nd. No phones- no Internet- generator power- all this in the wake of the Newton massacre. It’s an abomination.

Yes, Horan Watch! Your blog post IS protected by Federal Whistle Blower law!! And YES! A blog on Tumblr IS free and EASY to set up!!

And -thanks to your brave author- the conditions at your school might very much improve sometime fairly soon!!  Any why? Because sunlight is the best disinfectant there is.

    You rock.

I hope various “traditional” media cover the Horan story and cover it hard. If even a tenth of that account is true, anyone involved in the decision to run the drill should be suspended starting tomorrow and put on a fast track to termination. What in the hell were they thinking?

  • Flerp

Unbelievable, if it’s true. Frankly I’ve found my own kids’ school’s revisiting of security protocols frustrating enough — the lesson from Sandy Hook is precisely that you CANNOT stop a determined shooter — but this story is just pure madness.
