TNTP should take their propaganda elsewhere. Any teacher worth his or her salt knows that they are the ultimate spin masters of the ed-deform movement. Voters in many states voted down ed-deform agendas at the local level and the tide is finally starting turn against those who seek to profit from public education and destroy the teaching profession.

    On the NYFERA report’

If we follow that logic in NYC, children will be bused to districts such
    as D 31, Staten Island; D 26 Whitestone Queens; D 15 Park Slope,
Brooklyn; D 20, 21,22 (i.e., Bay Ridge, Marine Park, Brighton Beach)
the East Side and parts of the West Side.

Where ya gonna put ‘em Mr. Brooks?

Will these moves bleed out the poorly performing district, who will never be able to make up the time/resources/money lost?

Sufficiently lucrative sounds suspiciously cannibalistic…….we don’t eat our young…..well at least not yet.

Teach For America honors no one.  It is a nefarious, union-busting organization aimed to harm the middle and working class.
