Are teachers actually being used as guinea pigs and untrained eyes regarding transit and building issues? Well, better to have adults enter first, rather than kids and adults test things out from scratch, but teachers are not trained for this. And if this is what the city is doing with teachers, the Mayor should not only admit it but make it clear.

Actually, seems more like a dry run to see who can get to where.

I woke up at my usual time 5:30a.m., showered and then checked my doe mail one last time for an update. Walcott sends out a message at 12:51 a.m. not to report until 10a.m. What did they think we were going to do, stay up all night waiting to find out we can sleep in a little later. Walcott, instead of standing behind bloomberg at all the press conferences looking like a dear in headlights. You and your idiots at tweed should have t thought out a plan to inform teachers at a reasonable time about friday.. In another year when you are ousted by the new mayor for being a fraud you can always come to my mountain retreat and work as a maintainence man. Oh, to be prepared yoy don,t have to start until 10:00a.m. Clown

I was at my school building at 8 AM when I saw the email.  These two clowns have got to go!!!!!!

  • BloombergMustGo

I wonder where on earth anyone gets the notion that public school teachers have a punch-clock mentality. Truly inspiring stuff.
