District 24 Charter School Hearing

This public hearing is open to anyone interested in providing public comment about the proposed charter school application for Middle Village Preparatory School. The school is being proposed to open in District 24 in 2013.

    Christ The King HS has scandle after scandle regarding the adults associated with the school and has a weak academic reputation and poor student behavior for years. No wonder there is a wing empty! Students should go to a much better co-ed school – St Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows, St. John’s Prep in Astoria or Molloy HS in Jamaica.  Any project related to working with the adults of this school is a big mistake

    Christ the King has a bad reputation as a school throughout the community. I think charter people should rethink the location.
