		<description><![CDATA[what about the school aides the lay off in oct.7,2011.We want our jobs back to help take care of our families.Its just not fair.They gave us this mess up deal for unemploment of 196.00 dollars a week,what is that to take care of your family,you have to save two weeks to paid any kind of bill.Come on,they should did better than that.THEY SHOULD HAVE PAID US OUT FOR THE SUMMER TO.If their is a cry out i am in we were left out with no word of ever coming back to work.WHAT DO WE DO.,someone help us school aides who was lay of OCT.7,2011.HEY BLLOM BERG HOW WILL YOU FEEL WHEN YOU CANT DO ANYTHING WITH YOUR CHILDREN FOR THE SUMMER.DO YOU REALLY CARE.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[A &quot;retiree health fund&quot; was set up to pre-fund retirement benefits, so the deal retirees get -- unlimited benefits at unlimited cost -- would not bankrupt the city.  It was funded in good times.  But all that money was spent balancing the budget in the past few years.  But nobody said &quot;boo&quot; about it.  As for your raise, your 
 total compensation has soared at a time when most people are becoming worse off, forcing those less powerful to pay higher taxes for less in education services.  But all the increase has been in retroactively enhanced pension benefits, which is exactly what the union wanted.  
 
Not feeling grateful, lucky, and willing to work harder to make up for classroom cuts because of the huge increase in what other people are paying you – because you only get it later when you are not working?  That just shows the extent to which the children have been screwed by having that pay increase hidden the way it was.
