Looks like Merryl Tisch is keeping a low profile on this one, letting John King assure us that SED is closing the barn door, yet again, on problems in the testing program. They never run out of wool up in Albany do they?

An "expert independent review" bought and paid for by Pearson? Done by whom and why should this be trusted? and why should we trust King's estimate of how many flawed questions there were in these tests, given that no one has been allowed to see them outside his office? Principals and teachers have pointed out many other ambiguous or badly-worded reading passages others than those catalogued above.

A real independent review panel should be appointed, including parents and teachers, and guess what? I bet that they would not have to paid.
