This principal (Breeden) is just another example of how clueless the DOE is and how they allow crappy people like her to stick around.  Only in NYC can this happen.  Time and time again, the DOE fails.  KUDOS to Yoav Gonen who actually reports this stuff and is not afraid to tell the truth about principals, unlike other reporters who kiss up to Walcott and don’t tell the truth.  Maybe Breeden can hire disgraced principal Chase who is at the rubber room, 110 Livingston St – hanging out making 130K, but no one knows that huhh?  Not in my hometown, we have rules and we don’t take crap like this.  The parents here in NYC are being scammed and steamrolled, while not even knowing it.  Poor parents, what a shame!

My question re the principal is simple:  When it comes to similar fouls committed by teachers or principals or administrators, does DOE have a double-standard?

  • Michael M. (parent still)

Ah, the days when a corsage was enough.

  • I noticed that…

DoE’s name will be changed in Septebmer to Dept of Double-standard Education, where administrators who do wrong will not get punished unless it’s a teacher.  All those underhanded, conniving, deceitful, cheating, lying administrators please submit your resume to DoDSE asap.  If you have committed egregious crime or fraud in the last two years as a principal, you will be hired immediately.  Honest educators please be aware that false allegations will be sustained by the DoDSE.
