backlash
The Nationwide backlash from the release of faulty Teacher and school data reports may yet prove to be the crowning positive achievement of the Bloomberg DOE. Forcing such blatantly useless data on the public has stoked an anger rarely seen. One by one NCLB, RTTT,PEP and TDR reports are being rejected and revolted against. Puppeet panels are being exposed and the money trail is becoming clear. How many politicians will fall and how high are still up for grabs but the numbers in the end will be astounding–keep watching the Public is starting to win again.

Transformation Teacher
That illustration is excellent. I really apprecitate that the student did not just point out the current destruction of Lehman, but also the other large Bronx schools destroyed by Bloomberg.

Ho hum, TNTP — just another reform group: Led by Michelle Rhee for its first 10 years, And they seem proud of it. The motto could be: put a quality teacher in the classroom who will respond positively to pressures to cheat.

Roar Lehman, roar.
SickofBloomberg
Even a child can see what all the ethically-challenged Bloomberg supporters deny.
What a sad commentary on all the adults outside the school system who are in positions of authority.
The failure of American schools is not caused from within but rather from without. The same criminals responsible for the ethical violations in the real estate bust and the transgressions on Wall Street are directly responsible for the deconstruction of the Americam education system.
They prey on the emotional vulnaribility of the public when dealing with children by painting teachers as the enemy. All the while their campaign of destruction covers the greed that motivates their every action.
Corporate America will prove to be the most dangerous and destructive enemy of this country in its entire history, and no one will know the truth because they have destroyed the educational system and prevented children from learning and understanding history.
The issue has nothing to do with salries, pensions, expenditures, test scores or evaluations.
It always has been and always will be about manipulating the system to generate profits.
If unions can be dismantled then schools can be reengineered into profit centers fueled by public tax monies. That is the true irony behind the reform movement.

Thinking is illegal!
Lehmanlion1995
What’s pathetic is these ridiculous PUPPETS like Marc Sternberg, Shael Suransky, and the other losers who were all in the Bronx as principals. What a bunch of “followers” and YES MEN …….. waste of power! The illustration is great. Why aren’t more and more publications taking this on? Everyone is against this and everyone just watches. You will see Monday night, the parents, students, and community outraged at plans for “turnaround” at Lehman, but who cares? The ironic piece is that Councilman Vacca (Bronx) is across the street from Lehman and can only watch as his community is sliced up. Michael Bloomberg has destroyed this system and his LEGACY is — Destruction of Education (D.O.E.)
