Have you found any protocols or models that are good for promoting those kinds of meetings? I&#039;ve found this to be the hardest part to implement consistently in my school.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Common planning time is critical, provided that time is used to collaborate rather than commiserate. It&#039;s also important for school leaders to identify and leverage effective practices among individual teachers--through peer observation/coaching. I now provide both of these services as a consultant--training school leaders and teachers on PLCs and peer coaching--and have seen it make a huge difference in instructional effectiveness and staff morale.      ]]></description>

Developing curriculum in an innovative and efficient manner within a school, such as yours is via Dropbox, is an essential next step. Moving beyond politically demarcated districts and networks, I would like to see teachers collaborating on curriculum shared not only across districts, but across states. And not because the DOE tells them to, but because it&#039;s the best manner of cultivating strong content as adapted from the input and feedback of diverse, multiple perspectives.]]></description>
