Budget cuts should start here. Get rid of:
Tweed’s Spin&Dry PR Media Dept
Legal at DoE is not needed! They should go back to being shysters.
Too many Deputy Chancellors who were in the classroom less than 10 years.
Get rid of the Acuity and Predicative exams; let’s recycle the paper and use it to make necessary textbooks.
School for One and izone – technology is good. But in n a blackout I still can depend on the blackboard to teach.
Consultants go get a real job.
Funding charter schools. Let them buy a Lottery tickets. If they win, they can fund themselves.
CFN – too many of these networks, with too many administrators (a lot of them were former TFA teachers), all of them depend on Legal to answer their questions, that principals asked them in the first place.
