As a respected source of ed. journalism, when do you think your readers will learn about the massive salary gap that exists between NYC teacher salaries and their counterparts in Nassau/Westchester? I am very eager to read about this topic. Perhaps, you could elaborate on why this exists and what remedies exist to fix this. Thank you and I look forward to reading about this! Surely, this issue needs to be explored especially when teachers in those counties make approximately 25% more than their NYC counterparts…….

So our tax dollars are going to go to pay for the overpaid Eva. Disgraceful. My friend works at HSA and she told me that the new principal of Brooklyn Success Academy did not even have a college degree when she was chosen as principal!, Can Gotham confirm this story? Will Hsa deny it?

    Ellen,
I’m with you.  I can’t get the link to work either t see the story.  Do the Gotham reporters know there’s a major story on News 12 the Bronx?  I don’t understand why it’s not up?  Can we get it?

  • I noticed that…

The above link is about the abusive principal, John Chase, small school (Bronxdale HS) in the Columbus Campus.  Same m.o. as Richard Bost!  If this had been a teacher under investigation, he/she would be removed from the classroom.  But a principal is innocent until proven guilty.  He stays in his position.  Chancellor and the mayor has set up the system for these predators to be protected as much as possible.  The victims always end up having justice delayed.

  • I noticed that…

Does anyone know if John Chase is from Oneonta, NY?
