The extra week is for PTA officer / selectors.
Not for the meaningless DOE-invented “straw poll.”
Please check whether YOUR PTA’s officers were provided “selector” information, including a list of who’s running, and what school(s) their kids go to, and whether Gen Ed / Spec Ed / ELL, as the latter two get “reserved” seats at the CEC level.
