I have a problem with a public school pushing a Jewish nationalist agenda. Could there be an Arabic Language School that teaches kids to sing songs in praise of an Arab country? People would call it a terrorist academy.

The Kennedy principal hired a Per Session thief who stole over 150K in Per Session at Lehman before transferring to Kennedy. If investigators look around I am sure they will find that they are only scratching the surface. These folks have been robbing the BOE/DOE for a long time. Shame, shame, shame.
“Schools investigators found that two assistant principals were being paid hourly as coaches on the school’s football team, even when E-ZPass statements and other records showed they had left school grounds.

The assistant principals, Scott Arbuse and Giuseppe DiMaio, have earned $155,490 and $169,707 in “per session” money since 2001, a schools spokeswoman said. ”

They have a Jewish nationalist agenda because they teach the language of Hebrew?

  • Rose

No. I have no problem with them teaching language. I have a problem with teaching students to sing “my land is Israel.”. Could an Arabic school get away with teaching a song like that? No. Teach Thr kids Hebrew, bur leave Israel and all it entails out of the building. Is that too difficult?

With all of the noise surrounding Nicole Suriel’s death, there have been many comments posted on every conceivable blog and in response to every conceivable news article that the adults leading the trip should be lauded for trying to save her after she was noticed by her classmates to be missing in the water. Several comments have pointed out that one of the adults allegedly told the kids it would be ok to go in the water as long as they stayed in a certain area. WELL, THAT’S WHY YOU DON’T SWIM IN UNGUARDED BEACHES. Even if you don’t watch the tidal reports and aren’t aware that riptides are present, the fact is, AND EVERY RESPONSIBLE ADULT SHOULD KNOW THIS, that riptides are invisible from the surface. They can take someone out who is standing in the water ankle-deep. I am an experienced distance swimmer and have held lifeguard certification in the past, and once I was swimming at Robert Moses State Park in a section that had lifeguards, and I came out of the water after riding a wave. I was standing about knee-deep and all of a sudden a riptide blew past my feet and sent me tumbling through the water. By the time it was over the tide had taken me about 250 feet out to sea and NO ONE HAD SEEN IT HAPPEN. I knew that if I’d actually been in any serious trouble that the lifeguards would have spotted it but for a moment it flashed through my head how bad it could have been. So never let your kids go into unguarded ocean water, not even to get their feet wet. A riptide can kill them.
