Dear NYC Parents, 

Oy, charter schools.  Traditional schools are sooooooo good.  Let me explain.  Some lady studied charters nationally.  She found that many were not good in their first year.  Particularly in Kansas City.  Those charters blow.  

This same lady also found that NYC charters were, on average, better than NYC traditional schools.  But I&#039;m pretty sure that part of the study, the NYC part, is not relevant to you, NYC parent. 

Anyway, the bottom line is you should not have the option of choosing a charter!  You are not smart enough to choose the right school for your child.  I am.  And I have decided you should attend the neighborhood school.  Love, Diane Ravitch]]></description>
