No news to fans of this site that the Daily Snooze and the Compost are rabid charter boosters. And it’s not simply over RttT funds.
What we need are a few guest editorials from the other sides. And I say sides plural because there is a wide range of reasons for challenging charter mania: some empirical, some philosophical, and some logistical.
What happened to the days when editorial pages were the “town square” where differing viewpoints could be shared?

Nominally, kids who get held back get held back for educational reasons.
I am aware of at least a few instances where kids with clear behavioral problems have been held back, this to the detriment of the kids who have to share their class with a bigger, older, kid with “issues.”
