GothamSchools — daily independent reporting on NYC public schools

The Department of Education will hold its first-ever enrollment fair focusing on students who are behind in high school credit accumulation, offering opportunities for them to learn about alternative pathways to earn a high school diploma. Attendees will meet with representatives from transfer schools, Young Adult Borough Centers (YABCs), and GED programs based in all five boroughs. All New York City residents between 15 and 21 years old, including students who have already dropped out of school, are invited to attend along with their families. Attendees will have access to comprehensive information about available program offerings and can obtain guidance about specific admissions procedures for each.
