At the risk of being called naive and being berated, I will say that I like this new rating system. We rate the students will a 4 point rubric. We as professionals should also be able to be rated on our strengths and weaknesses. I have always been wary of the all or nothing S or U rating system that is in place. There is no middle ground. Now struggling teachers and administrators have that middle ground – if it’s used effectively …

One could not create a better plan to undermine tenure than this. This a dream Klein might have but then wake up and realize destroying tenure is an impossible dream. Congrats UFT leadership, with your help the impossible in not only possible—it happened!!

Thanks UFT – I’m glad you allowed your members to vote on this issue… oh wait you did it by a secret meeting where our elected delegates never even polled our schools. Excellent! Well Done! Just like a mob-run union. Why not hold another secret vote to raise union dues too? Maybe you can buy more artwork for your beautiful building.

I want my union dues back – all of it. Where can I sign up for the class action lawsuit against the UFT??? No Automatic UFT Deductions without Representation!

Awesome. This is just a way for yet another “consulting firm” to reap in hordes of no bid cash.

“The contract would be required to outline expectations for academic outcomes and district expectations, and stipulate that failure to meet those expectations may be grounds for termination of the contract.”

Again, how high is the bar set?
