How did the people in Tweed help Bloomberg get re-elected? Is Klein sniffing chalk dust? There are 100 million reasons why Bloomberg squeezed into winning yesterday's election: Only 25% of the NYC populace went to the polls and $100 million in campaign flyers, media, and paying his croonies to get his third term. Bloomberg's 50% of the votes is a telling sign that he will not have his way the next 4 years. Yippee for John Liu and Bill DeBlasio! They will definitely keep the mayor, Klein, and the DoE, in check.

Heaven help the schools......four more years of this may well destroy any chance of rescuing the schools from this incompetent, inept, unqualified non educator masquerading as an educator. When I see you teach a class, Mr. Klein, I will be prepared to judge your competence as an educator. Until then, shut up.

"... creating a school system that puts the interests of students above all else."

What an odd verb choice, from a Chancellor who has had eight years to do just that.
