The Mayor says parents will “flock to the city?” Rully? I’ve talked to a few who want to, ahem, get the flock outta here.

Note that Boom-berg’s “PlaNYC 2030″ talks of one million additional New Yorkers by 2030 — none of them kids. And significant infrastructure needs — none of it schools, even on the same rehab basis as “energy, transportation, and water.”

Near the end of last night’s debate, the press asked Bloomberg if he was out of touch with the average New Yorker. There can be no better example than this. More than the near-term broo-ha-ha over school grades. It’s not about the Mayor’s shmoozing on the subway “4 times a week.” (Some focus group.) It’s about what he’s planning for: NO MORE KIDS. NO MORE SCHOOLS.

    NO MORE BLOOMBERG.

Teach your kids that democracy is not for sale, and that you value their future. Eight is more than enough; as far as schools go it’s eight too many.
