Re twitter update re Klein and RAND study on social promotion….
I take it this was at the PEP meeting tonite, at which a presentation on social promotion in 4th and 6th was on the agenda.
Curious as to why put this topic on the agenda BEFORE the study came out.
“I wonder whether school are more or less integrated along socioeconomic lines than they are along racial lines. I could imagine the title of that article being "why don't we have any rich kids?"
