The poll’s question “Since research shows…” is loaded and pretty crappy journalism. It’s one book, one excerpt, not all research. The way it’s worded, one would get the impression that it’s the definitive in research on gifted-and-talented programs.
“I wonder whether school are more or less integrated along socioeconomic lines than they are along racial lines. I could imagine the title of that article being "why don't we have any rich kids?"
