  1. So President Obama, flush from screwing up health care reform (did he learn NOTHING from the Swift Boat August of ‘04?), handing out trillions to Wall Street crooks via the TALF program and Federal Reserve Open Market Committee operations, expanding American troop presence in Afghanistan to prop up a corrupt regime while American casualties soar, continuing the Bush policy of keeping terrorist suspects “in perpetuity,” making a secret deal with drug companies a la Cheney, appointing “ag whore” Tom Vilsack to ensure our food supply is genetically modified and trademarked by Monsanto and doubling down on Bush’s failed No Child Left Behind policies, now wants to tell teachers how to teach via White House-prepared lesson plans.

Given how the White House can’t seem to do anything right, the lesson plans ought to go in the garbage, along with Obama’s failed policies and failed presidency.

You know, I never much liked Obama’s moderate policies and seemingly sincere belief in “bipartisanship”, which these days means do exactly what Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh want or you’re a socialist, but I have to admit to being surprised at how incompetent he is as an administrator and chief executive.

He has failed to rein in Wall Street excess with any meaningful regulatory changes (did you know Goldman Sachs and the other investment boys are leveraged 40 to 1 again - with government money!!!), makes health care reform more unpopular every time he opens his mouth about it (watch the poll numbers - support for reform falls every time he gives a speech or press conference on the subject), can’t steer any meaningful progressive laws through an overwhelmingly Democratic Congress (whatever happened to Card Check anyway?), and has no idea how to fight back against the crazy wingnut smears about “death panels” and his “socialist agenda.”

And now he wants to have Secretary Arne’s minions write “suggested” lesson plans for teachers?

Please - stay out of my classroom and pay more attention to your own plummeting fortunes, Mr. President.

Oh, and don’t let the door hit you on the way out of your one-term presidency.
