The UFT supports "Parent Outreach Committees" in their borough offices - the monthly meetings in Brooklyn attract 50-75 parent leaders each month, including some CEC members ... with, not surprisingly, an empower the parent philosophy ... ironically some of the regular attendees could run rather than be students in the undefined CUNY center.
