		<description>A zoned school would be the one that a kid goes to, in his neighborhood, automatically... say if he failed to fill out that top dozen form. Or, say, if a kid gets rejected from the schools he applies to. 

That's not what this is. I'm surprised you didn't point out the difference.</description>

		<description>It is ironic if this is yet another asset that charter schools have - given the negative effects of this administration on our regular public schools.  As Joel Klein has destroyed neighborhood high schools, which often anchored communities, only charter schools remain with a link to the community they serve.</description>
