GothamSchools — daily independent reporting on NYC public schools

The infusion of private school students and their parents could be a very good thing for public schools. The NYC DOE has many talented teachers and leaders that can be seen at schools throughout New York City. I wrote about one such school in a recent post, “You Can Get a Dalton Education at a NYC Public School” (http://theinnovativeeducator.blogspot.com/2008/12/you-can-get-dalton-education-at-nyc.html). With private school parents being forced to convert, maybe, hopefully, they will help make the dream of a quality education for all *not just those with the big bucks* come true.
